Ag Pilots Project

Seeking to Benefit Agriculture and the Enviroment

The Agricultural Pilots Program is ready to take its next step forward.  The state budget includes $500,000 to fund a “proof of concept” phase was approved by the Legislature. These funds will allow us to support a few projects in the coming year and to potentially demonstrate value of an ongoing program.  During the “proof concept” phase, the Center will also further test the processes for project selection, implementation and monitoring.

The Oversight Committee (click here to see the members) will reconvene this Spring to select pre-proposals applicants who will be invited to submit full proposals for possible funding.  At this point, no pilots have been selected or rejected.  If you submitted a pre-proposal, you will hear from Center staff in the near future about the status of your pilot.
