Statesmanship in the Statehouse
On December 9, 2015 the Ruckelshaus Center and the Slade Gorton International Policy Center featured Washington state Senators David Frockt (D-46th), Curtis King (R-14th), Linda Evans Parlette (R-12th), and Christine Rolfes (D-23rd) at their third annual luncheon entitled Statesmanship in the Statehouse. During this discussion, moderated by Reneee Radcliffe Sinclair of TVW, the Senators discussed their views on leadership and bipartisanship in the Washington State Senate. In addition to sharing their thoughts on the current legislative climate, the panelists also provided examples of successful collaboration despite current polarization in Olympia and Washington D.C.
