Melissa Girbach joined the Ruckelshaus Center as a Project Specialist in 2023. She was later promoted to an Associate Facilitator in 2025. Melissa completed her MPA at Portland State University, where she focused on natural resource management and sustainable food systems. Prior, she completed her BS in Animal Science and Agribusiness Management at Michigan State University. She is interested in finding common ground between environmental policy and the agricultural industry.
