Greg Devereux is the Executive Director of the Washington Federation of State Employees. As Executive Director of the union, he works to protect and advance the welfare of some 40,000 state employees. This involves coordination of activities in the areas of field services, negotiations, Personnel Resources Board activities, legislative, political action, and communications. Prior to coming to the Federation, Devereux was Coordinator of Health Policy for the Public Policy Department of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFL-CIO) in Washington, D.C. He has also served as an Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs and as a Labor Relations Field Examiner. Devereux has a jurist doctorate in Labor and Corporate Law, masters in Industrial and Labor Relations and Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics. Additionally, he serves on the Public Employees Benefit Board.
