Membership Overview
UNCG membership provides unique opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate within a supportive network of university professionals. Membership highlights include educational webinars, recommended readings, networking opportunities, and the annual conference. To join UNCG, please email uncg.ruckelshaus@wsu.edu with your university, department, and contact information. New and returning members can pay dues at the link below.
Voting membership is open to centers, institutes, and programs that engage in practice, scholarship, and teaching to increase the capacity for collaborative governance in their communities. Activities may include collaborative problem solving, third-party facilitation, and multi-party conflict resolution.
Non-voting membership is open to individual faculty and staff members who engage in practice, scholarship, and teaching to increase the capacity for collaborative governance in their communities. Student membership is open to any student who is currently enrolled in a program related to collaborative governance.
Membership Categories
Centers
Sustaining Centers: $1,000 / year
University centers that wish to be recognized as “Sustaining Centers.”
University Centers with Full-Time Staff: $445 / year
University centers that have at least two full-time staff members.
University Centers without Full-Time Staff: $175 / year
University centers run by a single faculty member without additional full-time staff.
Affiliate Centers with Full-Time Staff: $495 / year
Centers that have at least two full-time staff members. Not affiliated with a university.
Affiliate Centers without Full-Time Staff: $245 / year
Centers run by a single founding member without additional full-time staff. Not affiliated with a university.
Individuals
Students: $30 / year
Current undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students at any university.
University Faculty and Staff: $75 / year
Faculty and staff currently employed by any university.
Affiliate Practitioners: $100 / year
Individuals who are not employed by a university but are working in collaborative governance.
