Kara has been working as a project coordinator for the Center since 2014. At the Center she provides logistic, facilitation, budget, writing and communication support for a number of the Center’s projects located mainly in the Coeur d’Alene and Spokane River Basins in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. Kara is also faculty in the School of the Environment at Washington State University in Pullman, WA where she teaches courses in environmental science both on campus and online.
In her spare time, Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 kids, trailer camping, listening to music, backpacking in the Idaho wilderness and playing board gaming. She also loves antiquing and finding bargains at garages sales.
