Brian Blake is a Democrat member of the Washington State House of Representatives. He has represented the 19th District since his appointment in 2002. Representative Blake currently serves as the Chair of the Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee, as well as sitting on the Business & Financial Services and Commerce and Gaming Committees. He has been selected through gubernatorial and leadership appointments to serve on several additional committees. He currently serves on the Southern Resident Killer Whale Task Force, Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission, the Pacific Fisheries Legislative Task Force, Recreation on State Trust Lands Work Group, Council of State Governments, the Joint Committee on Water Supply During Drought, and the Legislative Council on River Governance.
Representative Blake previously worked as a Contract Forester for the Weyerhaeuser Company and as an Environmental Specialist for the Department of Corrections. He earned his A.S. in Forestry from Grays Harbor College and his B.S. in Environmental Studies from the Evergreen State College.
