In May 2021, Hazel joined the Ruckelshaus Center as an Administrative Coordinator. In May 2022, she started a new position as a Project Specialist. She currently supports several of the Center’s projects.
Hazel graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Environmental and Forest Sciences. She is currently attending the University of Washington to earn her MPA with a focus in Environmental Policy. She is interested in the overlap between environmental science and climate policy. When Hazel isn’t studying, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
