Melissa joined the Ruckelshaus Center in 2023 as a Project Specialist, where she provides support for various projects. Melissa completed her MPA from Portland State University focusing on Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Food Systems. Prior to this, she completed her BS in Animal Science and Agribusiness Management from Michigan State University. She is interested in the interaction between environmental policy and the agricultural industry. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, exploring food and music festivals, and catching up with family and friends.
